I have compiled a historical biography of John Rushworth and transcribed lengthy excerpts from his Historical Collections for which he is most famous. The content of this excerpt also links to other articles on Wikipedia and it helps to show how the life of John Lilburne has been ignored and obscured in the UK while his legacy became the very foundation of the US Bill of Rights. The identity of Rushworth's wife as Hannah Widdrington is unsupported by any facts. She has been replaced by Hannah Eldred, whose identity is supported by their marriage record in 1643 and the 1662 Will of Hannah's brother Jonathan Eldred, who names her as "Hannah Rushworth" and Rushworth as his brother-in-law.Lois Hacker (talk) 16:42, 15 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
